3. How does Real Facilities help me during the outfitting process?

Real Facilities has partnered with pre-screened, best in class suppliers and service providers to help you outfit your corporate space in the most efficient way possible. Real Facilities demands the highest quality and service from all of our outfitting partners. Real Facilities will also provide you with a dedicated project manager, who will coordinate the entire process, from building your space, to moving in on time and on budget.

4. How do I know how much or what type of space I need?

The people in your company dictate the space needs of your company; how they get to work, what they do when they get there and how they relate to customers, partners and each other. To determine the needs of your company use our Needs Analysis Questionnaire. Coupling your answers with the latest market information on available space and comparable transactions, we customize a search program that helps you find your ideal space and negotiate a lease that has maximum flexibility and competitive financial terms.

5. Does it cost anything to use the Real Facilities Web site?

There are no costs associated with using the Web site. As a Real Facilities client, you have access to all the features and tools on the site.

6. How do I search for a property?

Click the Tools button on the left side of your screen and search for available properties by square footage and by location. If you are a Real Facilities client, click the Login button and enter your user name and password, then click the "Find Space" button on your left. Once logged in, search for enhanced information on properties in our database using a variety of criteria.

7. How do I find more details about a property?

Click the link beside that property in the list. The screen that appears will show details about that property, such as rent, available square footage and when available a property photo.

8. What do I do when I find a property I am interested in seeing?

Contact your dedicated Real Facilities representative and we will arrange a tour.

9. Who can use the Real Facilities Web site?

Anyone can use the Real Facilities Web site. As a client you will also have a dedicated representative to fulfill all of your facilities requirements and full access to an exclusive client area on our web site.

10. What can I do once I am a client?

You are given a user name and a password that gives you access to an exclusive client area. Here you can communicate with team members, store photographs, floor plans and leases, create schedules, assign tasks and track project progress. You are also able to search our database, which features the latest information on all available office space in every major office node in the Greater Toronto Area.

11. What happens if I forget my user name and/or password?

Your dedicated Real Facilities representative will provide you with a new user name and password.

12. How do I find out more about technical terms involved during the real estate process?

Technical terms involved in Finding, Leasing and Outfitting space are defined in our glossary. If you ever have any questions about anything that occurs during the real estate process contact Real Facilities and your dedicated representative will be ready, willing and able to help you with any issue.

13. What sort of information should I track and store on the Real Facilities Web site?

Any pertinent project related information should be stored here. This includes communication with team members, comments on specific properties, floor plans, photographs and legal documentation. You can also use the advanced project management functionality to create schedules, assign tasks and track your project's progress using a graphical timeline.
